Plan A Visit
If it’s your first time at CBC, welcome! You are very important to us and we are glad you chose to stop in. We know though, as a guest, you may have several questions on what to expect.
Here is some basic info on what to expect.
Where do I go when I get there?
If you have kids grades Pre-K through 5th grade, we have a special drop off spot for them. They will enjoy the hour in our Family Life Center with bible based activites and they will hear about Jesus on their level! The entrance is located on the Northeast side of our facility. Your kids will be greeted and introduced to the other kids while you check them in.
If you have kids younger than Pre-K, we too have a place for them! Infants and toddlers can be taken directly to the main building where they can be checked in and energetically cared for. We have an infant nursery and a toddler nursery to better appropriately care for each individual child’s needs.
After your kids have been checked in, you can go directly to our main entrance area where we have the Cornerstone Cafe to serve you coffee and breakfast refreshments. Enjoy the refreshments and then stop by our guest services desk to get more information about who we are and what we’re about. When you’re ready, find your way into our chapel and enjoy the service!
When should I arrive?
Our service starts at 10:00. We recommend arriving around 9:45 if you have kids. This allows you enough time to check in your kids, enjoy some refreshments, stop by our guest services desk, and find a comfortable seat for the service.
If you are interested, we do also offer a Diving Deeper bible study that starts at 9:00. This takes place in our main building and is a great opportunity to dive a little deeper into the scriptures, ask questions, and learn. The lessons are taught by a rotating group of teachers and cover a wide variety of topics.
What do you offer for my kids?
Cornerstone’s children’s ministry is staffed with caring volunteers ready to welcome your kids and provide a safe, fun environment for guiding them toward their early steps in faith. All our adult volunteers have completed background check information and first aid trained volunteers are close by.
Infants through toddlers have separate nurseries with a variety of interesting things to see and do appropriate for their age. These kids enjoy being together in the same building as the adult worship service. Your child will be checked in with their name, your name, and a cell number in case you are needed during the service.

Pre-K, and 3rd through 5th grade kids will check in with you at our Family Life Center. Age appropriate classes are available filled with Bible based hands-on activities, music, and videos. We believe in providing a variety of learning style opportunities each week so that every child will be glad they came and want to return to take next steps on their own journey of faith.

How long is the service?
Our service starts right at 10:00 and can typically go between an hour and an hour and fifteen minutes. We usually open the service with announcements, sing four worship songs with the band, then the speaker preaches. We then conclude with one more song. If you would like to hear our preaching style, visit our listen and read page.
We do not take up an offering during our service. We have several ways for people to give, and we think giving is important, we just believe it is an act of worship between you and God. We have lock boxes at the back of the chapel where you can securely place your cash or check, and we have online giving option where you can give as well. If you would like to give, visit our Give page.
What do I wear?
When you visit Cornerstone, you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Most people wear casual clothes, but wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
Can I attend if…?
CBC believes in meeting people where they’re at and we believe everybody has a next step. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, we’d love to be a part of your journey.
